Computershare - Worst outsourced customer service
Trying to get the name and address changed of stock that is in the name of a company I closed 10 years ago. The Manila based "customer service" has been giving me disinformation for 2 months and just can't figure out how to send a statement to my current address so I can get a medallion stamp guarantee to change the name.
Total catch 22. They did find a way to send me an acknowledgement to that address of the $100 they charged me to register the one original stock certificate I was missing. I will probably put in a complaint today with the NYS Attorney General and open a small claims court case to get their attention and or my money. Emails to Frank Madonna the the EVP of operations in the US have gone unanswered.
There isn't any online service for business customers. There is no US number to get any real help.
What century is this company working in? Huge waste of time.
