NO customer service!
Have had stocks w/Computershare for many years. All good until today.
Tried to locate my MetLife statements- gone. Called any # I could find (inc MetLife), was unable to speak to a CSR.
In addition, each time I tried to chat, the window closed before I could type! Don't know what happened but they need to be responsive to investor needs.

- Lousy chat option

I needed to change my email address, go online and all good till get to security questionsfalls over and locks account, going to send temporary password in the post.wtf! So i ring the phone number on letter head, apparently its not the right number ( Im talking to Equateplus, need investor centre.huh?), so transfer me and then go through painful questions again only to be told going to transfer me to Equateplus..omg really!
At this point I said thanks but no thanks its all getting too hard.
Been trying to get email address changed since November 2024 and its now May 2025. Bad bad bad experience.

Cannot transfer stock due to Computershare issue.
My brokerage has requested transfer of stock and it keeps being rejected by Computershare. Computershare says everything is fine yet
each time a request is made they reject it. Going on 6 weeks and trying to get someone above an agent seems impossible.

I have called them four times in the last month. My only request is to help reset my password because I no longer have access to the email address associated with the account when it was initially set up.
The only way they would do this for me is to send me the new password by U.S. mail, and they said it would take 7 to 10 days. As of this writing, I have not received anything.
Each time I call, I get the same response. I am beyond frustrated at this point.

I have never encountered a more efficient, automated phone service! I surely expected at some point to press an option to speak to someone, but it absolutely was not necessary. The actions taken during the call using the ComputerShare automated service were confirmed, and the process could not have been simpler!

I spent 2 hours attempting to access my accounts with NO success.Access has the lowest score as far as friendly service, usability of access package, speaking with a human being, breaking into the automated list that took me nowhere.Presently I have two seperate stocks but requires two seperate access attempts to see both, is there a reason why you cannot access my accounts by my name and see all of my items?I was never able to get through to customer service, I tried the phone number listed on my statement but goot Canada on line.The whole purpose of my call attempts was because I could not sign on . The security codes were placed many years ago and I had forgotten what they were.. Never found a link for my problem.If I did get a person on line, their offer to assist me was not wirth the cost of the phone call.you can probably assume that I was not happy with my attempts to contact the company and now I am at a loss of how tto do business with Computershare, you MUST have some way to get through having many thousands of customers but the Senior Citizen has not broken the code.

Death of one of the shareholders
The automated system will not properly accept my account number three times. My husband who was co-owner of the shares passed away.
Ive had no luck even getting past the poor automated system. Unacceptable

Even after verification of my account I still cant access it. I have wrote letters like they ask and still nothing.
They keep transferring me to one Indian to another and still no answers. This is ridiculous

This stock or share holding company has poor customer support, the main number is just a voice bot that doesn't respond to live support requests. They have antiquated business policies, ie., doing things thru snail mail like password resets and requiring Medallion Stamped signatures.
It's impossible to sell your shares. They throw up every obstacle to keep from getting your money.
They have numerous SEC and BBB complaints but nothing is done to improve them or force them to stop doing business.
